In October, the Santa Fe Food Policy Council -- a joint City County effort established in 2008-- released its food plan, entitled, "Planning for Santa Fe's Food Future."

KSFR's Marion Cox spoke with County Commissioner Kathy Holian on how the new plan brings together issues such as land-use and sustainable agriculture. Commissioner Holian speaks on this report to the concept of "Feed Security," which seeks to bring government and people together to ensure there's enough affordable, easily-accessible and nutritious food for all.
