The City of Las Vegas, New Mexico, is getting lots of high-level attention lately. Earlier this month Governor Susana Martinez and the State Secretary for Tourism joined local elected officials and business leaders on the Plaza in Las Vegas to talk about the “revitalization” of one of NM’s most important historic towns.

As KSFR's Marion Cox reports, one reason for the excitement is the recent sale of The historic Castenada Hotel - a trackside Harvey House Hotel - and the refurbishing of the Plaza Hotel located on the Las Vegas Plaza.
