You may be wondering how to spend the upcoming weekend. Partying to save the rainforest probably isn't on your list of plans. But it could be! A non-profit organization called the Borneo Project is in New Mexico for the weekend, with events in Santa Fe on Saturday and Albuquerque on Sunday. They're trying to raise money and awareness for indigenous-led actions preventing corruption and greed from destroying rainforests and traditional communities. 

Borneo Project Executive Director Jettie Word told KSFR's Kate Powell how the Borneo Project got started over two decades ago.
