Although Santa Fe Community Farm is a bit off the beaten path in the Traditional HIstoric Village of Agua Fria, it is a working model of small-scale urban food production.This Sunday, John Stevenson, founder of the farm will turn 100 years old. The community farm serves as an agricultural education center, and donates fresh fruits and vegetables to the homeless, hungry, and disabled of the area. Volunteers come from a wide variety of groups including schools, shelters, and inter-faith organizations. The Santa Fe Community Farm is one of the oldest and last remaining farms in Santa Fe, and was established 60 years ago.
