In late January representatives from more than a dozen western states gathered in Santa Fe to discuss the impact of drought on western economies. High on the agenda were strategies for managing drought in the recreation and tourism sectors, upon which New Heavily depends. We asked Carlee Borwn, policy advisor for the Western Governors Association, to share some of the meetings findings and how others can benefit from the information shared.

Albuquerque's homeless camp, known as "Tent City" was in trouble until Wednesday night with threats of eviction from the city until community groups came up with a solution for the campers. KSFR's Joe Gallegos was there for the announcement.
